Dr. Matthew B. Steinberg, Associate
Dr. Matthew B. Steinberg, a native New Yorker who grew up on Long Island, received his Bachelor of Science in Communications from the State University of New York at Buffalo in 1997. Deciding to pursue a veterinary career, he worked as a veterinary assistant at Park East Animal Hospital and the Animal Medical Center while attending Hunter College. Moving to Massachusetts, he continued his studies at Harvard University and received his degree in veterinary medicine from Tufts University in 2005. Prior to returning to Park East, Dr. Steinberg completed a one-year internship in general medicine and surgery at the Animal Medical Center, followed by a year practicing emergency medicine at NYC Veterinary Specialists. His primary interests include preventative medicine, neurology, renal disease and soft tissue surgery. Dr. Steinberg currently lives on the upper east side with his wife Suzi, twins Daniel and Hannah, their cats Samantha and Jake, and their dog Jack.
